Merchandising
Merchandise is one of the limited exceptions to use of the monogram in the standards. In all other instances (except for athletics), the monogram must be used in conjunction with the academic mark. This section refers to items are not sold, but created to support our academic entities. When creating merchandise, contact Marketing Communications for approval of your area’s name in a lockup.
We use our merchandising lockups in this scenario in order to take advantage of the recognition that the ND monogram has, as these items will most likely make their way out in to the world.
The ND monogram is also easier to reproduce in certain instances, such as embroidery.
To request a lockup, contact Marketing Communications for a standards approved lockup for your area, 631-4636.
